Workshopping to Freelance Success

How do you know what milestones to define when starting a freelance project?

As a freelancer, you are often the one-and-only designer. You want the collaboration to succeed but are not always sure what milestone you need to reach and when in the beginning. It is essential to align with your clients to ensure that the outcomes exceed their expectations.

In this talk, Géro Sauerwein will talk about the processes she uses, including a kickoff workshop, to define the next steps for her freelance projects.

This talk will cover:

  • How to set expectations with clients

  • How to run a kickoff workshop

  • Lessons learned from doing it the wrong way
