Taking the Wheel of Your Design Career
How do you use your design skills to improve your life?
There isn't much room for flexibility in a typical design career path. You’re supposed to start as a junior and work your way up on a linear path to manager. What if you want to design your own business or a side project?
In this talk, Damian Martone will share his unconventional career path and what he learned from going from designer to freelancer to founder of HATCH, a UX and design experts conference.
The talk will cover:
How to take a side-project into something that could pay your bills
How to plan ahead without being terrified
How to adapt to your experience and personality
In the talk, Damian provided a 50% discount for online tickets to HATCH on September 8, 2022
