ONLINE WORKSHOP: Facilitating a Full Experience

This workshop is already sold out.

Learn how to craft moments for momentum in your workshops

We are excited to collaborate with Rachel Davis, workshop experience designer and facilitator, on this exciting 3 hr. live workshop focused on crafting facilitation moments at every stage of a working session.

“In life, we can work so hard to get the kinks out that we forget to put the peaks in.”

― Chip Heath, The Power of Moments: Why Certain Experiences Have Extraordinary Impact

Facilitation is not just your time in one session but rather the entire experience—from opening to closing moments, from peaks to valleys. We will build out an experience in real time using learning frameworks, facilitation tips, and methods.

Join us as we craft an experience together and touch on all the moments along the way.

What you will learn

  • Learn how to distill topics into desired outcomes

  • Build out pre-session moments

  • Learn how to create opening moments with intention

  • Explore techniques for facilitating during sessions

  • Discover ways to wrap a session and use closing moments

  • See playbacks in action and learn how to use them in your sessions

Who should join

  • Designers who currently run, or want to run more, working sessions, workshops, or meetings.

  • Designers interested in up-leveling their facilitation techniques to turn workshops into experiences.

  • Designers that want to learn how to work more collaboratively with their stakeholders

  • Designers that work in-house on a team or even run their businesses (freelance, agency, or anything else at all)

  • You do not need to be a facilitator to join — everyone has facilitation superpowers within them, promise!

Limited Availability

To ensure an optimal learning environment and facilitate meaningful interactions, the workshop is limited to 40 participants. Early registration is highly recommended to guarantee your spot.

Meet your Facilitators

Rachel Davis

Hi! I’m Rachel, a Workshop Experience Designer, and Facilitator based in the United States with almost 20 years of experience. I’m a firm believer that play is the doorway to our wildest ideas, and as a result, I’ve built my own consulting company to help others bring that joy and energy into their workshops. Coming from an environment where being creative was like pulling teeth, I’ve worked throughout my career to help others move past the thoughts that they are ‘just not creative,’ that play can’t co-exist with problem-solving, or that they ‘just don’t have good ideas.’

I began the first ten years of my career path as an artist and educator, then transitioned into brand and web design. I'm now combining my past two career paths to create learning experiences for designers in the middle of their careers.
