Collaborating in Product Discovery with Sophia Höfling

We can build products our users don't need if we don't spend enough time on discovery. When we work collaboratively with our team and our users, we can discover insights that can have strategic effects on our product development.

But does that mean every team member needs to be involved in every step?

Sophia Höfling will talk about her learnings on how to build effective, cross-functional product discovery practices in this talk including:

  • Why it is important to balance discovery with delivery when building products.

  • Setting up teams to successfully run discovery collaboratively across design, product management, and engineering.

  • Building up a discovery toolbox.

  • Continuously co-creating with customers along the discovery process.

  • Creating a work environment that allows for continuous progress and learning.
