What does the end of a UX research project typically look like? You might think of uncovering insights, presenting findings, sharing results... writing reports! At first glance, academia, science, and UX (and more) share a lot of similar terms with each other.
Wrapping up a research project shouldn't be a replicable scientific process that ends with a published report. True impact comes from building relationships with stakeholders and setting mutual expectations about how a research project should wrap up.
